UHL & Associates, Inc. provides litigation support and expert testimony for municipal, industrial, and commercial parties involved in water rights and contamination matters.  We have prepared numerous technical documents, expert reports, and affidavits for litigation purposes; given depositions; provided expert courtroom testimony; and participated in technical/cost apportionment settlement negotiations.


INTERNATIONAL SERVICES

UHL & Associates, Inc. implements water resource development and environmental assessment projects in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and South America for International Lending Agencies, USAID Contractors, National Governments, NGOs and Private Sector clients. These projects address a wide range of water-related issues, and have included a country-wide groundwater resource availability assessment (Afghanistan); strategic planning for water-supply development options (Botswana, where wellfields were substituted for a proposed dam-based approach based on community and environmental concerns); specialized training for local government water utilities in well design and maintenance, water meters usage and water quality sampling (Jordan, Bangladesh, Liberia); and providing practical water-supply project guidance (CRS).


GIS, SPATIAL DATA MANAGEMENT and REMOTE SENSING

UHL & Associates, Inc. integrates GIS in water resource planning, exploration, development and management projects. Internationally, the Firm has integrated GIS and Remote Sensing techniques to process, analyze, and prepare field maps from published maps, aerial photographs and satellite images.
